	       由来：为了提高城市居民节水意识，从1992年开始，每年5月15日所在的那一周为“全国城市节水宣传周”。 宣传周旨在动员广大市民共同关注水资源，营造全社会的节水氛围，树立绿色文明意识、生态环境意识和可持续发展意识。使广大市民在日常生活中养成良好的用水习惯，促进生态环境改善，人与水和谐发展，共同建设碧水家园。
        

        
	       为贯彻习近平生态文明思想，落实国家节水行动推进全民节水，国家住房城乡建设部定于2021 年5 月9 日至15 日开展“第30 届全国城市节约用水宣传周活动”，宣传周活动主题为“贯彻新发展理念，建设节水型城市”。
